Information about AstroMUD brands
By pledging your loyality to certain Immortals you receive a brand marking you as their followers. Branding is permanent so choose wisely.
| Brand | Benefits |
| Demos | Followers of Demos are granted the skill Tranquility. While in the Tranquility: - You will be protected from summoning mobs, which allow you to safely regen or heal. - You will not be able to hear any public channels or tells. |
| Gk | You gain ability to use gambit of fire spell in order to enchant your weapon damage. The drawback is that weapons tend to blow up the higher you go with this skill. With some good luck you can enchant your weapon to +5 DAMAGE. You sure as hell will blow up a lot of valuable weapons before you master `gambit of fire`. |
| Gohan | Brandees of Gohan are granted the power of Kamehameha, the ability to concentrate all your mana into a powerful attack. However, you can use this skill only once on the same mob. |
| Kaytra | Those that choose to follow Kaytra are granted the powerful ability to scry. In most cases with `scry` you will be able to see the room in which the mob or the player is currently located. |
| Marissa | Marissa's followers are granted the ability to cast swift, to call upon her powers to hasten their speed and block attacks. You will get one extra attack and sometimes block mob attacks. You have to manually cast this spell for 100 mana and it wears off. You cannot recast this spell during fighting. Swift can be dispelled by mobs or players. |
| Saelack | Saelack's Spirit Mastery spell remains on the caster for a limited duration, and during that time, when a successful kill is done, the caster retains some of the victim’s spirit, restoring his own, this takes the form of hit points, mana, or movement. |
| Siobahn | Those that Worship Siobahn receive the gift of Shadow Door. The
ability to recall to any of the 3 hometowns with no mana drain. Some limitation still exists and Shadow Door will not work in all rooms.
As far as I know it does not work in PK rooms which is shame. Please be aware that there exist many Recall toggles, these work quite similarly to Shadowdoor. At some point you will also get recall spell, but that will cost mana. Recall scrolls are also easily available in many stores. |
| Skalizar | The followers of Skalizar are able to learn the true nature of any magic that has been cast upon them. To use the power, cast the spell: `analyze magic`. The nature and duration of any active spells will be disclosed. |
| Syd | You will no longer get attacked by agro mobs. However, this will not save you from autoagro mobs. |
